You Are Welcome Here

Welcome to long-time Lutherans, Christians from every tradition, and people new to the faith.

Welcome to all who have no church home, want to follow Jesus, have doubts, or do not believe.

Welcome to new visitors and old friends.

Welcome especially to all who have ever been made to feel unwelcome by the church.

Welcome to people of every age and size, color and culture, marital status, ability and challenge, sexual orientation and gender identity.  We want to be clear that we welcome lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender persons to participate in the life of the congregation.

Welcome to all who seek to join us as we commit ourselves to embracing the work of racial justice and equity.

Welcome to believers, questioners, and questioning believers. This is a place where you are welcome to celebrate and grieve, to rejoice and recover.

No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here. This is a place where lives are made new.

Come and see!

Racism Acknowledgement: We acknowledge we have historically been a predominantly White congregation and we commit ourselves to embracing the work of racial justice by confronting racism and seeking fairness and dignity for all.

Land Acknowledgement: We acknowledge the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Numu (Northern Paiute), Wašiw (Washoe), and Newe (Western Shoshone) peoples. Our region continues to be a gathering place and home for Indigenous Peoples and we recognize their deep connections to these lands.
